בית אלכסנדר גרינר תוכנן בשנת 1933 כבניין למגורים על ידי המהנדס מייזגד, ברוח הסגנון הבינלאומי. המבנה הוכרז לשימור מתוקף תכנית לב העיר וממוקם באזור הכרזת העיר הלבנה ע"י אונסקו. תכנון המבנה עושה שימוש בקווים נקיים, פשוטים ופונקציונאליים, ושם דגש על חדרי המדרגות כאלמנטים ורטיקאליים, הבולטים מקו החזית ולהם דופן זכוכית המעשירה את חווית העליה במדרגות. עבודות השימור ותוספת הבניה בוצעו בין השנים 2012-2017 בתכנון בר אוריין אדריכלים.

Alexander Gruner House was designed in 1933 as a residential building by engineer Meisgad, influenced by international style. The building was listed for preservation in the Lev Ha’ir plan and is located in the White City area, as declared by UNESCO. The building was designed using clean, simple, and functional lines, with the vertical elements of the building emphasized by the stairwells that protrude from the building facade, The stairwells have a glass wall, which enriches the experience of climbing the stairs within the building.
Renovation work and building addition were carried out in 2012-2017 and designed by Bar Orian Architects.
