DINING ROOM
In September 1938, the cornerstone of the dining room was laid.
The building was dedicated in January 1942.
The building included a dining hall, kitchen, and storerooms. The ground floor housed a recreation room and a bakery.
Grass and trees were planted and the area served a social center for the kibbutz members and their children.
During the War of Independence, the building was also used by Palmah soldiers from the Harel Brigade, including Yitzhak Rabin, David Elazar (Dado), Rafael Eitan (Raful).
In the early 1980S’ the building was renovated, and a new wing was added that serves as the current dining room.
