Built in 1882 by the British St. John Order, and operated until 1948. In 1972 the lot was sold to an entrepreneur, who founded the Mount Zion Hotel. The building original features were partly preserved according to the design of architects Moise Bonam and Nahum Meltzer, with elegantly designed rooms and public areas.
