Translation of the text on the sign:

1941
The paving of the road from Herzliya via Sokolov St. to Ramat Gan was completed, with an investment of 30,000 pounds, instead of ten thousand according to the initial estimate.
Herzliya paid 2/3 of the expenses and Ramat Hasharon paid a third.
In a similar way, the income from the sale of the bus tickets that traveled on the road was divided: 2/3 to Herzliya, 1/3 to Ramat Hasharon.
