The Jewish National Fund
Crescents on the Templar Road

The Jewish National Fund carried out rainwater collection works from the city and the surrounding area along the "Templar Road" to protect the canal from landslides, as well as collecting water to irrigate the planted and natural trees along the canal. A system of small crescent-like dams was built to absorb water and alluvium.
The dams are used to collect water and alluvium and also constitute seating areas for hikers.
