סיפור דרך: ביקור אנשי הזבל

באפריל 2014 אירח פארק אריאל שרון את התערוכה הבין-לאומית "אנשי הזבל" (Trash People) של האומן הגרמני HA Schult. במסגרת התערוכה הוצגו ברום ההר 500 פסלים בגודל אדם - פסלים העשויים מפחיות מעוכות, מפסולת אלקטרונית ומאשפה אחרת.
תערוכת "אנשי הזבל" נוצרה ב-1996 כדי לבקר ביקורת נוקבת את הצריכה האנושית המתמדת וכדי להתריע על הסכנות הקיימות בצריכת יתר. בדומה להר הפסולת המשוקם, הפסלים דמויי האדם משמשים תזכורת לכוחו של האדם לקלקל ולהרוס את סביבתו, ולהפך - ליכולתו לתקן ולשקם.
הפסל שלפניכם הוכן ע"י האומן כמתנה לשר להגנת הסביבה.
הפסל עשוי משילוב של פסולת ישראלית ופסולת גרמנית, כסמל לשיתוף הפעולה בין המדינות.

• HA Schult הוא מהאומנים הראשונים בעולם שעסקו בחוסר האיזון האקולוגי בעבודותיהם, תוך שימת דגש על נושאי סביבה וקיימות.

• במסעותיהם הם ביקרו במקומות בולטים בכל היבשות, כגון החומה הסינית, הכיכר האדומה במוסקווה. הפירמידות במצרים ועוד.

In April 2014, the Ariel Sharon Park hosted the international exhibition, "Trash People" by the German artist, HA Schult. The exhibition presented 500 life-sized statues on the mountaintop. All of the statues were made out of crushed cans, electronic waste and other type of garbage. The Trash People Exhibition was created in 1996 in sharp criticism of our culture of constant consumption and in an attempt to warn about the hazards of over-consumption. Like the rehabilitated mountain of waste, the human-like statues serve as a reminder of the power of mankind to ruin and destroy the environment, but also, of his ability to restore and repair it. The statue before you was created by the artist as a gift to the Minister of Environmental Protection.
