הבית ברחוב שיינקין 26 תוכנן על ידי האדריכלים ברגר ומנדלבוים כבית מגורים ומסחר בסגנון בינלאומי ונבנה בשנת 1935. המבנה נמצא בשכונת לב העיר בתחום העיר הלבנה שהוכרזה לשימור על ידי אונסקו. המבנה הינו חלק ממרקם אופייני לתקופה ולאזור זה, אשר שילב באופן מובהק ייעודי מסחר ומלאכה בקומת הקרקע עם מגורים בקומות העליונות הבניין שמר על המאפיינים הייחודיים לו - הדגשות עיצוביות של המרפסות האופקיות בחזית לרחוב שיינקין, חלון "טרמומטר" בחזית המערבית של חדר המדרגות, החזית הראשית של המבנה, הפורמלית, מודגשת בטיח WASHPUTZ ביחס לטיח חלק בתפיסה הפונקציונאלית של החזיתות האחרות של הבניין. כחלק מעבודות השיקום והשימור, נוספו על הגג קומת מגורים מלאה כדוגמת הקומות הטיפוסיות בבניין וקומת גג חלקית לה מרפסת גג הפונה לגינה ברחוב שיינקין.

The building on Sheinkin street was designed by architects Berger and Mandelbaum as an international-style residential and commercial structure. It was built in 1935, located in the Lev Ha’ir neighborhood, in the white city, which was declared by UNESCO as a preservation site. The building is a typical example of its style that is distinctive by combining dedicated space for commercial use on the ground level, with residential use on the upper floors. The unique characteristics of the design have been preserved, including the horizontal balconies facing Sheinkin street, and the "thermometer" window west of the stairwell. The formal main façade of the building is emphasized with the use of "WASHPUTZ" plaster, contrasting the smooth functional plaster of the other facades. As part of the restoration and preservation, two residential floors were added, styled like the typical floors of the building.

خطط المهندسين المعماريان برغر ومتدليويم البيت في شارع شينكين ٢٦ كبيت للسكن والتجارة على الطراز الدولي ويني عام ١٩٣٥. المبنى موجود في حي قلب المدينة في منطقة المدينة البيضاء التي أعلن عنها اليونسكو للحفظ والصيانة . المبنى قسم من تركيبة مميزة لتلك الفترة وتلك المنطقة ، والتي دمجت بشكل واضح اهداف التجارة والحرف في الطابق الأرضي مع السكن في الطوابق العلوية . حافظ المبنى على صفاته المميزة - إبراز تصميم الشرفات الأفقية في واجهة شارع شينكين ، نافذة " حافظة للحرارة " في الواجهة الغربية لغرفة الدرج ، الواجهة الرئيسية والرسمية للمبنى تم إبرازها بقصارة " واشبوتس " مقارنة بالقصارة الملساء بالمفهوم العملي للواجهات الأخرى في المبنى . كقسم من أشغال الترميم والصيانة ، أضيف طابق سكني كامل على السطح على غرار الطوابق النموذجية في المينى ، وطابق جزئي على السطح له شرفة تطل على الحديقة في شارع شينكين .
