First public shower
At the end of 1929 the first public shower was built, and it was available to the boys and girls. In the morning, the friends’ laundry was washed in it.
In the early 1950s, half of the building was converted into a workshop, and the other half into an office of the Culture Committee. It later became a weapons depot.
Next to the shower was a separate public toilet structure, but it was demolished in 1997.
The shower house has been renovated
