"Shepherd David" statue
The sculptor David Polus began sculpting this sculpture in 1936 and completed his sculptural work in 1938.
The name of the kibbutz "Ramat-David", after the name of the Prime Minister of England David Lloyd George, influenced Polus to create a statue in the image of the biblical shepherd David, with a harp and a spear in his hand.
In celebration of the 80th anniversary of Ramat David, 2006, the sculpture was renovated by the artists Dudu Yedidya-Moore and Sergei Ivtsenko.
