בית לאה גולדברג
בבניין זה חיה ויצרה הסופרת לאה גולדברג (1970-1911) משנת 1962 עד יום פטירתה. גולדברג, כלת פרס ישראל, החלה ללמד באוניברסיטה העברית בשנת 1952 וכעבור שנתיים עקרה מתל אביב לירושלים. היתה ממייסדי החוג לספרות כללית והשוואתית ומשנת 1960 עד מותה עמדה בראשו, מחלוצות הכתיבה לילדים ולנוער, סופרת, מתרגמת, עורכת מבקרת תרבות וחוקרת ספרות.

عاشت الكاتبة والشاعرة لينا غولدبرغ ( ۱۹۱۱-۱۹۷۰ ) ليئا غولدبرغ في هذا البيت من عام ١٩٦٢ . بدأت غولدبرغ ، الفازنة بجائزة إسرائيل ، التدريس في الجامعة العبرية عام ١٩٥٢ وانتقلت إلى القدس بعد سنتين . كانت من مؤسسي قسم الأدب العام والمقارن وترأستها من عام ١٩٦٠ حتى وفاتها . من رواد الكتابة للأطفال والشباب ، مارست الكتابة والترجمة والتحرير

LEAH GOLDBERG HOME
Author and Poet Leah Goldberg (1911-1970) lived in this building since 1962 until her death. Israel Prize Laureate Goldberg began teaching at the Hebrew University in 1952 and two years later moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. One of the founders of the Department of General and Comparative Literature, Goldberg chaired it from 1960. A leading writer for children Goldberg was a prominent writer, translator, editor, critic and literary researcher.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel

The sign was placed after a long struggle, and seems to have been placed as part of the "wave of heritage signs" placed in the Rehavia neighborhood between the years 2020-2021.
