בדירת קרקע בבניין זה התגוררה בשנים 1939-1942 משפחת סוניה ואב:א אחימאיר, שהיה סופר ועיתונאי, מבכירי התנועה הרביזיוניסטית. בעקבותיהם התגוררו באותה דירה עליזה ומנחם בגין, שהתמנה ב-1943 למפקד האצ"ל. באפריל 1944, לאחר שדבר מגוריה כאן התגלה לבריטים, עברה משפחת בגין לתל אביב.

The family of Sonia and Abba Ahimeir, an author, a journalist and a leader of the Zionist Revisionist movement, lived in a ground floor apartment in this building in 1939-1942. In 1942, Aliza and Menachem Begin, who in 1943 became the commander of the Irgun Zevai Leumi, moved to this apartment. In April 1944, after the British police became aware of their dwelling here, the Begins moved to Tel Aviv.

فـي شـقـة فـي الطابق الأول في هذه البناية ، سـكـن بين السنوات ١٩٣٩- ١٩٤٢ سونيا وأبا أحيمئير الذي كان من أبرز قادة الحركة الإصلاحية . وفي سنة ١٩٤٢ انتقل للسـكـن فـي هـذه الشقة عليزا ومناحم بيغن . الذي عين سنة ١٩٤٣ قائدا لحركة " الإينسيل " . في نيسان ١٩٤٤ ، عندما علم أن البريطانيين قد عرفوا هوية سكان الشقة ، انتقلت عائلة بيغن إلى تل أبيب .

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
