רכס הכרמל נוצר מהעתק גיאולוגי ויוצר נוף תלול ומצוקי. חורש ים-תיכוני צפוף, חורשות של עצי אורן נטועים ועצי אורן ירושלים הטבעיים למקום - כולם ירוקי-עד - יוצרים "הר הירוק כל ימות השנה". מיני צמחים נדירים, בהם שושן צחור ובוצין אופקי צומחים בכרמל, ומיני בעלי חיים בהם סלמנדרה, נשר וחזיר בר מוצאים בו את ביתם.
בכרמל אתרי עתיקות מהפרהיסטוריה ועד לתקופה העות’מנית.

تكونت سلسلة جبال الكرمل من قالق حيولوحي وسكلت مشهدا صخريا شديد الانحدار . حرس كثيف لحوض البحر الأبيض المتوسط ، أحراش من اشجار الصنوبر المرروعة وأشجار الصنوبر الصحري الطبيعية لهذا المكان - دائمة الحصره – نسخ " حبلا احصر جميع ايام السنة " . تنمو في الكرمل أنواع نادرة من البيانات ، من بينها الرتبي الأبيض والبوصفير ، وتعيش فيه أنواع من الكاتبات الحية من بينها السلمندر ، النسر والجنزير البري . توجد في الكرمل مواقع أثرية تعود إلى حقية ما قبل التاريخ وحتى العبرة العثمانية .

Welcome!
The Carmel range was created from a geological fault and creates a steep, cliff-like landscape. Dense Mediterranean woodlands, groves of planted pine and naturaliy occurring Aleppo pine (Pinus halepensis) – all evergreens - create an "evergreen mountain."
Species of rare plants grow on the Carmel, including Madonna lily and glandular celsia, and wildlife species make their home here, among them salamanders, vultures and wild boars.
There are antiquities sites in the Carmel dating from prehistoric to Ottoman times.
