The Israel National Trail is a walking route that traverses the State of Israel along its length. The length of the trail is 1,080 km. The trail was inaugurated in 1995 and it starts at Mount Hermon in the north and ends in Eilat in the south. The route consists of about 50 sections, which are usually accompanied by signs describing the section .
