החזית הצפונית של דרך המלכים - דרך העצמאות
המתחם תוכנן והוקם בין השנים 1934–1939 ע"י האדריכל הבריטי קליפורד הולידיי. הפרויקט משתרע על פני מאות מטרים לאורך דרך העצמאות (לשעבר דרך המלכים), על שטח ים שיובש לצורך בניית עורף לנמל החדש, ומשמש למסחר בקומת הקרקע ומשרדים בקומות העליונות.
המתחם, הבנוי בסגנון הבינלאומי הינו בלוק אדיר ממדים שדגשים אופקיים מאפיינים אותו: חלונות פס זהים, גגון מסיבי להצללה לאורכו, מרפסות נוף אורכיות בקומה העליונה והדגשת המעברים לרחוב הנמל ע"י קומה נוספת מעליהם. המבנים בגמר אבן "טלטיש" זהה.
התעגלות סימטרית של המבנים בשתי קרנות הרחוב, העצמאות ופלמר, מדגישה את הכניסה לשער פלמר, ששימש בעבר כשער הכניסה הראשי לנמל חיפה.

لواجهة الشمالية لشارع الملوك - شارع معتسمؤوت
قام بتصميم الحيّز وإنشائه خلال الأعوام 1934-1939 المهندس المعماري البريطاني كليفورد هوليدي ينتشر المشروع على مساحة مئات الأمتار على امتداد شارع هعتسمؤوت (شارع الملوك سابقا). على مساحة من البحر تم تجفيفها لغرض بناء خلفية للميناء الجديد، وهو يُستخدم للتجارة في الطابق الأرضي وللمكاتب في الطوابق العلوية. الحيّز المبني بالأسلوب العالمي هو عبارة عن مبنى هائل النطاق حيث يبرز فيه ما يميّزه من أشكال أفقية شبابيك الخط المتطابقة، السقف الصغير الصُّلب للتظليل على امتداده شرفات المنظر الطبيعي الطولية في الطابق العلوي، وبروز الممرات إلى شارع الميناء من خلال طابق إضافي من فوقها المباني بتشطيب حجر طلطيش متطابق. كما أن هناك استدارة متكافئة للمباني في زاويئي الشارعين هعتسمؤوت وبالمر تُبرز المدخل إلى بوابة بالمر. التي السابق كبوابة المدخل الرئيسية إلى ميناء حيفا. استخدمت في ميناء حيفا.

Northern Front of Kings Road - Independence Road
British architect Clifford Holliday designed and built the compound between 1934 and 1939. The project spans hundreds of meters along Independence Road (formerly Kings Road), on an area reclaimed to build a rear for the new port, and has a commercial ground floor and offices on the upper floors.
Built in the International Style, the compound is a huge block characterized by horizontal accents: identical strip windows, a massive shading roof all along, longitudinal balconies on the top floor, and passageways to the HaNamal Street accented by an additional floor above them. The buildings are clad in Taltish (rough chiseled) stone.
The symmetrical curves of the buildings on both Independence and Palmer street corners, empnasize the entrance to Sha’ar Palmer, which served as the main gateway to Haifa Port.
