בית הטבע נבנה על ידי האדריכל פרדי כהנא ונקרא על שמו של אפרים לבנה. חבר הקיבוץ, מחנך ומורה לטבע, הוגה ויוזם הבית, מי שאסף ושימר בעזרת ילדי הקיבוץ את מרבית האוספים המוצגים בו.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel

The house of nature
The Nature Center was built by the architect Freddy Kahana and named after Ephraim Livne. Kibbutz member, educator and nature teacher, thinker and initiator of the house, who collected and preserved with the help of the kibbutz children most of the collections displayed in it.
