Juan de Escobedo (1578-1530) Spanish politician and secretary of Don Juan of Austria, appointed to be in charge of Madrid. Was related to Antonio Pérez secretary of Felipe II, King of Spain. He was murdered in 1577, who, according to the rumor, refused the king’s orders, or discovered Antonio Pérez’s love affair.
