לימים היה הקלוב מיסודותיו של חיל האוויר של מדינת ישראל.
בסוף דצמבר 1948 הועבר המטה לקריה בתל אביב.

In 1948, the
Air Services Headquarters
of the Hagana
- Israel’s pre-State army
were located in this building, which housed the offices of the Eretz Israel Aviation Club.
The club later formed one of the foundations of the State of Israel’s Air Force.
The headquarters were later transferred to the IDF’s main base in Tel Aviv - the Kirya.
