Comments:
A sign in the series of signs in Madrid, made of clay and depicting in an illustration one of the elements of the street

The square is named after Enrique de las Morenas and Fossi, who lived in the 19th century, a Spanish officer, who was governor of a colony in the Philippines and was killed during the siege of Baler in the Philippines from the beriberi disease. It seems that the symbol painted on the sign is one of the badges of honor he received.

The sign was painted by Alfredo Ruiz de Luna Gonzalez
