התרחבות המושב
המושב השקיע מאמצים להרחבתו. ב-1944 נרכשה קרקע שהספיקה לתוספת של 6 משקים.

הקמת המדינה ופתיחת שערי הארץ הביאה לעליה ההמונית ובעקבותיה להרחבת המושב. ב- 1949 הגיעו 40 משפחות משארית הפלטה במזרח אירופה, חלקן עוקבו בדרך בקפריסין. הם שוכנו באהלים ו-6 משפחות עם תינוקות שנולדו בקפריסין שוכנו בבתי החברים, חיה מרקוביץ:
"3 חודשים גרנו באוהלים, אחר כך כל משפחה קיבלה חצי צריף, השרותים היו בחוץ."
צריפים הוקמו ברחוב החרוב ו-11 צריפים בהמשך רח׳ הזית. ב-1950 נבנו הבתים ברח׳ הערבה. בין אנשי ההרחבה שהתקבלו כחברים במושב נערכה הגרלה של הבתים והצריפים.

כל חבר חדש קיבל מהסוכנות: קיצבה, כלים חקלאיים, פרה, עופות ופרד, חלקם בשותפות לשני משקים. להשלמת הנחלה קיבלו פרדס מהרכוש הנטוש שעובד במשותף.
רוב הגברים עבדו מחוץ למושב והנשים במשק, לכן יום שבת היה מוקדש לעבודה במשק כפי שצייר בקריקטורה מיזי זילברמן.

The Moshav expansion
The village invested efforts to expand it. In 1944, land was purchased that was enough for the addition of 6 farms.

The establishment of the state and the opening of the gates of the land led to the mass immigration and subsequently to the expansion of the Moshav. In 1949, 40 families arrived from the rest of the refugee population in Eastern Europe, some followed the road in Cyprus. They were housed in tents and 6 families with babies born in Cyprus were housed in friends’ houses, Chaya Markowitz:
"For 3 months we lived in tents, then each family got half a hut, the toilets were outside."
Barracks were erected on Ha-Kharuv Street and 11 barracks further down Olive Street. In 1950, the houses were built on Arava St. A lottery was held for the houses and barracks among the expansionists who were accepted as members of the moshav.

Each new member received from the agency: a stipend, agricultural implements, a cow, poultry and a mule, some of them in partnership with two farms. To complete the estate, they received an orchard from the abandoned property that is cultivated jointly.
Most of the men worked outside the moshav and the women in the farm, therefore Saturday was dedicated to work in the farm as depicted in the caricature by Mizzy Silberman.
