טחנת הרוח
הוקמה בסביבות שנת 1875 ע"י הכנסייה היוונית-אורתודוכסית. משה מונטפיורי מתאר את הטחנה במסעו השביעי כמגדל אבן תלת-קומתי בצורת חרוט ובראשו זוג כנפיים, בדומה לטחנה בשכונת ימין משה. הטחנה נועדה לטחון את התבואה שגדלה בין עצי הזית במתחמים שהיו שייכים לכנסייה היוונית אורתודוכסית. הטחנה פסקה מפעול בסוף במאה ה-19. התחנה שופצה בשנות ה-30 בידי האדריכל אריק מנדלסון שקבע בה את מגוריו. בשנת 1987 המבנה ניצל מהריסה והורחב ע"י האדריכלים יעקב אלון ואמציה אהרונסון למרכז מסחרי.

الطاحونة الهوائية
أقامتها في حوالي ١٨٧٥ الكنيسة الأرثوذكسية اليونانية لطحن الحبوب التي نمت بين أشجار الزيتون في أراضي الكنيسة تشبه بطوابقها الثلاثة وشكل المخروظ الطاحونة في حي يمين موشيه في الثلاثينيات من القرن العشرين قام بترميم العمارة المهندس المعماري أريك مندلسون وسكن فيه. تحوّل إلى مجمع تجاري. في ۱۹۸۷ نجا المبنى من الهدم وقام المهندسان المعماريان يعقوب ألون وأماتسيا أهرونسون بتحويله إلى مركز تجاري.

THE WINDMILL
Built around 1875 by the Greek Orthodox Church for the grain being grown among the church’s olive orchards. During the 1930’s, architect Eric Mendelson renovated the building and chose to live in it. In 1987, the building was saved from demolition and then developed into a shopping center by architects Ya’akov Alon and Amazia Aaronson.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
