בית הרב יצחק אייזיק ושרה הלוי הרצוג
בית הרב הראשי האשכנזי הרב יצחק אייזיק הלוי הרצוג זצ"ל ורעייתו הרבנית שרה ז"ל. הרב הרצוג (תרמ"ט-תשי"ט 1959-1889) יליד לומז’ה בפולין, שימש כרב הראשי של אירלנד. עלה ארצה בשנת תרצ"ז (1937). כיהן כרב הראשי של ארץ ישראל ובהמשך מדינת ישראל במשך חצי יובל שנים. הרבנית שרה הרצוג לבית הילמן (תרנ"ו-תשל"ט 1978-1896) הייתה אשת ציבור, ממייסדות "אמונה", יו"ר בית החולים "הרצוג" (מקודם "עזרת נשים") בירושלים. בניהם, חיים הרצוג (תרע"ט-תשנ"ז, 1997-1919) היה הנשיא השישי של מדינת ישראל, ויעקב הרצוג (תרפ"א-תשל"ב, 1972-1921) היה דיפלומט ומנכ"ל משרד ראש הממשלה. בין נכדיהם יצחק הרצוג, הנשיא ה-11 של מדינת ישראל.

سكن هنا الحاخام الاشكنازي الأكبر (۱۹۳۷-۱۹۵۹) إسحق هليفي هرتسوغ (١٨٨٩ - ١٩٥٩) وزوجته سارة (۱۸۹٦-۱۹۷۹)، التي كانت من مؤسسات جمعية "إيمونا" ورئيسة مستشفى في أورشليم القدس الذي سمي بعد وفاتها هرتسوغ. أبناءهما حاييم (۱۹۱۸ - ۱۹۹۷) رئيس الدولة السادس ويعقوب (۱۹۲۱ - ۱۹۷۲)، الديبلوماسي ومدير مكتب رئيس الحكومة. أحد أحفادهما إسحق هرتسوغ رئيس الدولة ال - ۱۱.

RABBI YITZHAK ISAAC AND SARAH HALEVI HERZOG HOME
Home of Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi Yitzhak Isaac HaLevi Herzog (1889-1959) and his wife Sarah, nee Hillman (1896-1979), who immigrated from Ireland to Palestine-Eretz Yisrael in 1937. Sarah Herzog was one of the founders of the Emuna women association and chairperson of the Herzog hospital. Their son Chaim was the 6th president of the State of Israel. Their son Yaakov was a diplomat and Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office. A grandchild of theirs, Yitzhak Isaac Herzog, is the 11th president of the State of Israel.
