Comments:
Police officer Jesús Rebollo García was killed in a car bomb explosion in Callao Square in 1995. The attack was carried out by members of the Basque underground group ETA. Following a warning from the underground that a car bomb had been placed in the square, specifying the time for the explosion, police forces arrived at the scene to clear the area, but the car exploded, killing the police officer.
