The sign is on the wall of the building where he lived - Israel Paldi, born in Berdiansk, Ukraine (1892-1979), immigrated to Israel in 1909.
Two years after immigrating to Israel, he went to study art in Munich, Germany, from there he continued to Istanbul, Turkey, and in 1921 he returned to Israel.
He belonged to the modern painting school of the 1920s. He often painted landscapes and events.
Won the Dizengoff Prize for the art of painting and sculpture (1943, 1959)
