The sign is on the wall of the house where Yitzhak Frenel lived - painter, born in Odessa, Ukraine (1899-1981), immigrated to Israel in 1919.
Yitzhak Frenel, also known as Yitzhak Frenkel, was a painter who worked in several places in the world: Paris, Portugal, South Africa, and of course in Israel.
Winner of the Dizengoff Prize for painting (1934, 1938, 1939, 1940, 1948).
Lived in Tel Aviv and Safed.
