בית אנגל נבנה בסגנון הבינלאומי בשנת 1933, תוכנן על ידי האדריכל זאב רכטר ושימש למגורים. המבנה הינו נקודת ציון מרכזית בהיסטוריה של הבנייה בתל אביב בזכות היותו מופת של האדריכלות המודרנית ולאור זאת שהיה למבנה המגורים הראשון שנבנה על עמודים בעיר. קומת העמודים החופשית תפסה את מרבית שטחה של קומת הקרקע, יצרה מקום פתוח ומוגן, חשפה את הבניין לשדרה, לרוח הים המערבית ולאור הטבעי. בבניין מגורים זה ניכרת יכולתו של רכטר כארכיטקט בעל רגישות רבה לחומר ולצורה שבאה לידי ביטוי ביישום קפדני של חמשת העקרונות האדריכליים כפי שנוסחו על ידי האדריכל הנודע לה קרובזיה. המבנה הוכרז לשימור מתוקף תכנית לב העיר וממוקם באזור הכרזת אונסק"ו על העיר הלבנה כאתר מורשת תרבות עולמית.

The Engel House was built in the International Style in 1933 and was designed by architect Ze’ev Rechter for residential use. As the first residential building based on free columns floor in the city, it is an example of modern architecture and a central landmark in the history of construction in Tel Aviv. The free colonnaded floor occupied most of the ground floor, creating an open and protected space, exposing the building to the boulevard, the sea breeze and natural light. In this residential building, Rechter displays his capabilities as an architect, addressing the material and form with great sensitivity expressed in the meticulous implementation of the five architectural principles defined by the renowned architect Le Corbusier. The building has been listed for preservation and is located in the UNESCO declaration zone as a World Cultural Heritage site.

بني بيت انجل علم ۱۹۳۳ على الطراز الدولي ، حيث خططه المهندس المعماري زئيف رختر واستخدم للسكن ، هذا المبنى هو منظم مركزي في تاريخ البناء في تل أبيب وذلك لأنه مثال للهندسة العصرية وعلى ضوء كونه أول مبنى سكني يُبنى على اعمدة في المدينة . شل طابق الأعمدة الحرة غالبية مصلحة الطابق الأرضي ، فشكل مكقا مفتوحاً ومحميا ، كشف المبني على الجادة ورياح البحر الغربية والضوء الطبيعي . تظهر بشكل واضح في هذا المبنى السكنى قدرة رختر كمهننع معماري لنيه حساسية كبيرة للمادة والشكل ، وينعكس ذلك في التطبيق الدقيق للمبادئ الهندسية الخمسة حسبما صاغها المهندس المعماري الشهيرلو كوربوزييه . اعلان عن المبنى للصيقة والحفاظ عليه بحكم برنامج قلب المدينة ويقع في منطقة إعلان المدينة البيضاء من قبل اليونسكو كموقع تراث ثقافي عالمي المهندسون المصريون للصيقة وإضافة البناء بار اوريان مهندسون معماريون ( ۲۰۱۰ - ۲۰۱٩ ) ، امنون بار اور مهندسون مصاريون وشركاؤه ( ۲۰۰٦ - ۲۰۱۹ ) سنوات التنفيذ : ۲۰۱٥ - ۲۰۱۹ .
