בית חיים "יהושע רוזנברג" תוכנן בשנת 1932 על ידי האדריכל יצחק שוורץ (שן צור), שכיהן כמהנדס העיר בין השנים 1923-1926.
הבנין תוכנן בסגנון הבינלאומי ושימש כבית מגורים. המבנה לשימור ג’ מתוקף תכניות לב העיר וממוקם באזור ההכרזה של העיר הלבנה. בין המבנים האחרים שתוכננו על ידי אדריכל שוורץ ניתן למנות את בניין הדואר והטלגרף ברחוב נחלת בנימין שנהרס, מלון "סן-רמו" - הירקון פינת אלנבי שנהרס, בית אליס פלמר - לילינבלום 37, בית זלצר - אלנבי 19, בית לשכת רואי החשבון - מונטיפיורי 1, בית החרושת "ליבר" ועוד.
המבנה שומר בשנת 2013 על ידי אדריכל אבי מאיר, יזם: משפחת פולג.

The Chaim Yehoshua Rosenberg House was designed in 1932 by architect Yitzhak Schwartz (Shen Tzur), Tel Aviv’s city architect from 1923 - 1926. The building was designed in an international style, and was used for residential purposes. The building was earmarked for restoration C as part of the Lev Ha’ir plans and is located within the "White City" - conservation zone. Other buildings designed by Schwartz include the post and telegraph building in Nahalat Binyamin street (demolished). the San Remo hotel on HaYarkon and Allenby (demolished), Alice Palmer House at 37 Lilienblum, Zaltzer House on 19 Allenby, the former offices of the israel institute of Accredited Public Accountants at 1 Montefiore, the Lieber factory, and more.
The building was restored in 2013 by architect Avi Meir. Commissioned by the Poleg family
