עם הקמת המוסד בשנת 1951, שכן מטה הארגון בדרום הקריה. בשנת 1955 הוצבה כאן יחידת הקשר האלחוטי של המוסד עם שלוחותיו בחו"ל, שנקראה רשות התח"ל (תחנות חוץ לארץ). עם ראשוני היחידה נמנו ’הגדעונים’ ששירתו כאלחוטנים בספינות המעפילים של המוסד לעלייה ב’. עמוד התורן של האנטנה נותר שריד ממשרדי המוסד בקריה. שימור תורן האנטנה התאפשר הודות לתרומת חברת ’מֶר’, לזכר אהרון מֶר.

With the establishment of the Mossad in 1951, the organization was headquartered on the southern side of the Kiryah. In 1955, the wireless unit of the Mossad, which communicated with its overseas branches, was stationed here; it was called the TAHAL (Hebrew acronym for ’foreign stations’). The first units were the ’Gideons’ which served as telegraph operators on the illegal immigrant ships of the Mossad L’Aliya Bet (a branch of the Haganah in the British Mandate that operated to smuggle Jewish immigrants to Palestine). The mast of the antenna is the only remaining element of the Mossad offices in the Kiryah. The preservation of the antenna was made possible thanks to a donnation by the Mer group in memory of Aharon Mer.

عند إنشاء الموساد ‘ سنة ١٩٥١ ، وجد مقره جنوب هكرياه . وفي سنة ١٩٥٥ حلت فيه الوحدة الخاصة بالاتصالات اللاسلكية بين مركز الموساد وفروعه في الخارج ، والتي سميت سلطة الفروع الخارجية » ( راشوت هتاحل ) . وكان من أوائل تلك الوحدة من كانوا يسمون ” هخدعونيم " ، والذين كانوا يعملون في تشغيل أجهزة اللاسلكي في سفن القادمين الجدد التابعة للموساد ، الذي كان يسمى في عهد الانتداب البريطاني . هموساد لعلياه بيت ومارس عمليات نقل القادمين الجدد إلى البلاد مخالفا أوامر حكم الانتداب . وقد بقي العمود الحامل للهوائي أثرا من آثار مقر الموساد في هكرياه . وتسني تنفيذ أعمال حفظ العمود بفضل تبرع شركة ” مير ، تخليدا لذكرى المرحوم أهارون مير .
