Point number 13 in the history of Gedera as depicted on the wall at the southern entrance of the town.

The synagogue is also preserved as a heritage site, and appears on the site Click for sign's details

There is a discrepancy between the current sign and the written on a heritage site sign regarding the year of the synagogue. And it may be that the year in the current sign is the year of Meir Genkin’s death, when the synagogue was completed.
