בית יעקב קנר
בבית יעקב קנר נערכה פעילות נרחבת של ה"הגנה" החל משנת 1929 ועד להקמת המדינה.
במקום פעלו במשך שנים רבות מגן דוד אדום ומכבי אש ונערכו אימונים במתן עזרה ראשונה ובנשק קל. בתקופות שונות שימש המקום את מפקדת ה"הגנה" בראשון לציון. במלחמת העצמאות הוקם במרתף הבניין בית חולים ארעי.

YAAKOV KANNER HOUSE
In the kanner house numerous activites of the "HAGANA" were carried out from 1929 until the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948. For many years the home served as a first aid station and fired station.
In addition, the "HAGANA" used the building for light-weapon training and first aid exercises for his members. Over different periods of time, the house was the "HAGANA’s" Headquarters in the area.
During the war of Independence, the basemant was converted unto a temporary Field Hospital.

The sign shape is square but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
