בית הראשונים נחנך בתרס"ז - 1907
כאן הוקם המרכז הקהילתי הראשון של נס-ציונה. שימש באחת כבית-הספר, בית-הכנסת, בית ועד המושבה ומקום התכנסות לקהילה הקטנה בכל מגוון פעילותה. בהיות הבית שלמרגלות הגבעה מצודתה של נס-ציונה, שימש כמפקדת "ההגנה" ומקום ריכוז בטחוני לאוכלוסיה. נשק נטמן והוחבא (בתוך "סליק") בבית ובחצר.
מאז 1907 התרכזה בבית כל הפעילות הציבורית עד 1962 עת עברה המועצה המקומית למעונה החדש והבית עמד נטוש מספר שנים.
בשנת 1977 הוחל בשיקום ושיחזור הבית בצורתו המקורית, כדי להקים בו מוזיאון הנצחה למיסדים הראשונים.
