אתר זה שימש מק"ל (מקום לאימונים) של "ההגנה" למחוז תל-אביב. בבסיס זה קיבלו אלפי חברי "ההגנה" את הכשרתם הצבאית. במלחמת העצמאות 1947-1948, שימש המקום כחולית קשר המחברת את "דרך הבטחון" עם אזור תל-אביב רבתי, מושבות הדרום, ירושלים והנגב הנצורים. הבית שהוסווה כבית משאבות לבאר, תוכנן מראש לתפקידיו המחתרתיים והוטמנו בו "סליקים" לנשק "ההגנה".

Hosmasa
This site served as the Haganah’s training ground for the Tel Aviv district. At this base, thousands of Haganah members received their military training. During the War of Independence 1947-1948, the place served as a liaison that connected the "Security Road" with the Greater Tel Aviv area, the southern colonies, the besieged Jerusalem and the Negev. The house, disguised as a pump house for the well, was pre-designed for its underground functions and "slicks" for "Hagana" weapons were embedded in it.
