מערת התאומים בשמורת טבע נחל דולב סגורה למטיילים לכמה חודשים, עד לסיום ניתוח הסיכונים להדבקה בקורונה של יונקים בכלל ועטלפים בפרט. ההחלטה התקבלה בעצת מדעני רשות הטבע והגנים, על בסיס המלצות ארגוני שמירת טבע בין-לאומיים.
