A day after the first battle of Gush Etzion, it was decided to reinforce the Gush Click for sign's details, a platoon of 35 men, half of them members of the Sixth Battalion, under the command of Danny Mass, who was commander of Gush Etzion and deputy commander of the Sixth Battalion. The department was discovered and masses of Arabs attacked it. All members of the platoon were killed in the battle.
