The 73rd Battalion of the 7th Brigade was an armored battalion that some members of the Sixth Battalion joined (the Foremen Click for sign's details). The village of Bayt Jiz was captured (again, two days after the first time) as part of the preparations for Operation Ben Nun B in which they tried to occupy the Latrun area.
