צמחים נדירים 2
בחורשה כ-30 מיני צמחים נדירים, כאשר 20 מהם נמצאים בסכנת הכחדה בישראל ומוגדרים כ"מינים אדומים". מרביתם צמחים המאפיינים בתי גידול חוליים במישור החוף (חול מיוצב, חמרה וכורכר). בתי גידול אלה נפגעו קשות בעשרות השנים האחרונות בשל פיתוח לסוגיו ולפיכך תפוצתם כיום מצומצמת ביותר.

There are about 30 rare plant species in the forest, 20 of which are endangered in Israel and are defined as "red species". Most of them are plants that characterize sandy habitats in the coastal plain (stabilized sand, hamra and kurkar). These habitats have been severely damaged in recent decades due to various types of development and therefore their distribution is currently very limited.
