The plant that controls it is the Jerusalem pine.
It is an evergreen and tall evergreen tree, with a lifespan of 120 to 150 years.
This plant company grew on Randzina (clay soil) soils. It appears mainly in the Carmel forests in the form of an open forest.
The pine company also appears in the Galilee, Samaria and Judea. Unlike the natural pine company, the JNF forests are planted on different soils and are characterized by trees of the same age.
