שלמה 6, מבנה משק | سلمة ٦, مبنى المزرعة | Shalma 6, Farm Building

מבנה זה נבנה בשלהי המאה ה-19 עם חלוקתה של הבייארה הגדולה בין שני בני משפחת מוראד (Murad), והיווה חלק מן החומה הדרומית של המתחם. בחלק המערבי של המבנה נחפרה באר שקורתה בפרופילי פלדה אשר יובאו מלונדון. המבנה בנוי מאבן כורכר. במהלך המאה ה-20, נרכש המתחם על -ידי משפחת חגיגי (Hajaj) שהייתה מן הפרדסנים של יפו. נערכו שיפורים שונים בבית האחוזה והותקן מנוע דיזל על הבאר. עדויות לפעילות זו ניתן לראות גם בציור וכתובות הקיר בחללים שונים בתוך המבנה. בין מבנה זה למבנה בית הבאר שממערב לו, היה בעבר שער יציאה אל חלקת הפרדס שמדרום.

This structure dates from the late 19th century when the large well house was divided between two members of the Murad family. It is built from Aeolianite (kurkar), and formed part of the southern wall of the compound. In the western section of the building, the family dug a well which incorporated metal beams imported from London. During the 20th century, the complex was purchased by the Hajaj family, among Jaffa’s leading citrus growers. Various improvements were made to the mansion, and a diesel engine was installed at the well. Evidence of this activity can also be seen in the wall paintings and inscriptions in the various spaces within the building. Between this building and the well house to the west, there was once an exit gate leading to the orchards to the south.
