סמל ארגון ההגנה

בתש"ח, היא שנת מלחמת השחרור ועצמאות ישראל, שימשה עמדה זו מתחם תצפית לעבר קווי האויב שאיים על הישוב בואכה ימה ולעבר הגבעות של שכונת ג’בליה.
חברי ארגון "ההגנה" עמדו כאן על המשמר והגנו על בת-ים לאורך כל המלחמה. עד לנפילתה של יפו בידי הכח העברי.

האתר הוקם ע"י עירית בת ים בשנת התשמ"ט 1989

The symbol of the Haganah organization

In 1958, which is the year of the War of Independence and the Independence of Israel, this position served as an observation compound towards the enemy lines that threatened the settlement from the direction of the sea and towards the hills of the Jabalya neighborhood.
Members of the Haganah organization stood guard here and defended Bat Yam throughout the war. Until the fall of Jaffa to the Hebrew power.
