הייתה נצר למשפחת אצולה יהודית באנגליה. בנתה שיכונים לעולים ומעונות לקשישים, תרמה לאוניברסיטאות ולארגונים חברתיים ללא אבחנה או אפליה בין עדות ועמים.
בעולם פטריארכלי שבו מלכים וקיסרים בנו ארמונות ומבנים לנשותיהן או לפילגשיהן; ורה סלומונס הקימה את מוזיאון האסלאם לזכרו של המרצה האהוב פרופסור אריה לאון מאיר מן האוניברסיטה העברית. מטרת המוזיאון חקר אמנות האסלאם וקירוב לבבות בין יהודים לערבים במדינת ישראל.

كانت فيرا فرانسيس برايس سالومونس ( 1888-1969 ) من ذرية عائلة أرستقراطية يهودية في إنجلترا وقامت ببناء مساكن للمسنين والمهاجرين وتبرعت بها للجامعات والمؤسسات الاجتماعية على اختلاف أنواعها دائما دون تفرقة او تمييز بين الشعوب والطوائف . كانت السيدة سالومونس طالبة لدى البروفيسور مئير في قسم الفنون والآثار الإسلامية في الجامعة العبرية في القدس ثم أصبحت صديقة مخلصة له وعند وفاته عام 1959 أسست متحفاً تخليدا لذكراه وللتأكيد على أهمية الموضوع الذي تناوله .

Scion of a distinguished English Jewish family, built new immigrant shelters and provided homes for the elderly, donated to universities and social institutions, never discriminating against peoples or ethnicity. In a patriarchal world where kings and emperors built palaces for their wives and mistresses, Vera Salomons established the Islamic Museum, in memory of her beloved Professor Leon Arieh Mayer of the Hebrew University, for the study of Islamic Art and rapprochement between Jews and Arabs in Israel.

"Haviva Netiva and Aviva" route - a route located on Palmach Street in Jerusalem and commemorates the Palmach and especially the heroines of the Palmach.

There are several types of signs on the track, the current sign is a sign as part of "heroine signs".
