סמל "דרך היין" זכרון יעקב - 1882

בית שטרנברג
משפחת שטרנברג הגיעה לזכרון יעקב ב-1882 עם גל העלייה הראשון.
שמואל, אב המשפחה, עיצב ובנה את השערים הראשונים של יקבי כרמל. דלת סורגים בכניסה למרתף עם הכיתוב "ז"י 1892" הוא שריד מעבודתו.
דוד שטרנברג, בנו של שמואל, הצליח להסתיר את צוואתה האחרונה ומכתב ההתאבדות של שרה אהרונסון במנורת נפט ריקה במרתף ביתם. כיום מכתב זה מוצג במוזיאון אהרונסון.
סבורים שקיימת מנהרת מילוט בין הבתים של שטרנברג ואהרונסון. בקיר הצפוני של המרתף בבית שטרנברג ישנו פתח קטן אך היציאה מעולם לא נמצאה.

The Sternberg Residence
The Sernberg family arrived with the first wave of immigration to Zichron Ya’akov in 1882. Shmuel the father of the family, designed and built the original gates of the Carmel Winery. A barred entrance to the cellar with the inscription "ZY 1892" is a sample of his work.
David Sternberg, Shmuel’s son, managed to hide Sarah Aharonson’s final will and suicide letter in an empty paraffin lamp in the cellar of their home. Currently this letter is displayed in the Aharonson museum.
It is believed there is an escape tunnel between the Sternberg and Aharonson residences. In the northern wall of the cellar of the Sternberg residence there is a small opening but no exit has ever been found.

A route that runs along the Ha-Meyasdim Street in Zichron Yaacov, where the founding families of the colony lived.
