Translation of the text on the sign:
[Picture of the carpentry shop]

Carpentry
The first carpentry shop was purchased in Ramatimy on March 31, 2013, at a price of 300 Israeli pound. The kibbutz (Carit) was still in Hadar and the carpenters provided carpentry services for the building. With the move to Kfar Menachem, the carpentry shop was also moved. In the years after the War of Independence, (48-49), following the waves of immigration that came to Israel, the demand for products from the carpentry shop increased. About half of the carpentry’s products were directed to the building and furniture in the kibbutz and the other half was intended for outdoor work for the HaSochnut (wooden boards for building huts) and standard furniture for the agency, the health insurance fund and the Solel Boneh. At that time, about 15-20 workers worked in the carpentry shop. The carpentry shop was the first industrial plant in the kibbutz when, in the 1970s, comfortable chairs and sewing boxes were produced there. In the late 1980s, at the initiative of veteran carpenters, a "village toys" factory was established in which the carpenters created magnetic boards that were sold for students in schools and homes. Over the years, many members have moved to the carpentry shop and today the carpentry shop provides services to the kibbutz and according to the demand for friends and outsiders.
