Comments:
The sign is on the wall of the house where Aharon Ashman lived - a poet, translator and playwright. Born in Balin (Ukraine) (1896-1981), immigrated to Israel in 1921.
He composed a number of well-known songs, among them "The Wanderer’s Song", and well-known children’s songs.
He was active in ACUM (Association of Composers, Authors and Publishers) and in recognition, the ACUM Award for Creativity was named after him
The sign was placed in 2019.
