"בשעה שכוחות הרס חותרים תחת יסודות קיומנו הגופני, אנו משכללים ומשפרים את תנאי קיומנו החברתי והרוחני, אנו עולים שלב נוסף בהיווי דמות לחיינו ולישובנו ותפילה בלב עם חנוכת הבית הזה: מי יתן ויהא לנו מבצר ומשגב לשלמות האמונה וליכולת העמידה הרוחנית והנפשית, לחדות חיים וחדות מחשבה ולליכוד חברתי ורעיוני נוסף, נוכח כל אשר נכון לנו בחיק הימים הבאים".
