בית משפחת ויץ
בחצר הזאת גרו שנים רבות שניים מאבות ההתיישבות בארץ ישראל:
יוסף ויץ, (1972-1890), אחד ממייסדי בית הכרם בשנת 1923, מראשי הקרן הקיימת לישראל במשך עשרות שנים, גואל הקרקעות ואבי היער הישראלי.
פרופ’ רענן ויץ [1998-1913), בנו של יוסף ויץ, כיהן כראש מחלקת ההתיישבות בסוכנות היהודית ואבי ההתיישבות במדינת ישראל. בשנת 1980 זכה בפרס ישראל על מפעל חיים.

منزل عائلة وايتس
كان يوسف فايتس (۱۸۹۰-۱۹۷۲) مدير إدارة الأراضي والتحريج في مؤسسة الصندوق القومي اليهودي. ومنذ الثلاثينيات من القرن العشرين لعب دوراً رئيسياً في الحصول على الأراضي للمستوطنات اليهودية في أنحاء البلاد. ابنه بروفسور رعانان فایتس (۱۹۱۳-۱۹۹۸) كان رئيس قسم الاستيطان في الوكالة اليهودية ومن المسؤولين عن الاستيطان اليهودي في أنحاء دولة إسرائيل. جاز عام ١٩٩٠ على جائزة إسرائيل عن مشروع حياته.

WEITZ FAMILY HOME
Yosef Weitz (1890-1972), one of the founders of Beit Hakerem neighborhood, was the director of the Land and Afforestation Department of the Jewish National Fund (JNF). From the 1930s, Weitz played a major role in acquiring lands for Jewish settlements before the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948.
Ra’anan Weitz (1913-1998), son of Yosef. As the director of the Jewish Agency Settlement Department, he was responsible for the wide-spread establishment of Jewish rural settlements across Israel. Laureate of Israel Prize for Lifetime Achievement.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
