המכללה האקדמית לחינוך על שם דוד ילין
המכללה האקדמית לחינוך ע"ש דוד ילין בירושלים להכשרת מורים בישראל נמנית עם המכללות הראשונות למורים בארץ ישראל, אשר הדגישו את השימוש בשפה העברית, וקרויה על שם המייסד, פרופסור דוד ילין. הוקמה בשנת תרע"ד (1913) בשכונת זכרון משה, כחלק ממלחמת השפות והמאבק על ההוראה בשפה העברית. ילין שימש כמנהל מהיווסדה עד 1938. הלימודים החלו בט"ו בכסלו תרע"ד (14 בדצמבר 1913). התלמידים למדו לימודים תיכונים ולימודי חינוך, במטרה להכשירם למורים. המכללה עברה לשכונת בית הכרם בשנת 1928 והשפיעה רבות על התפתחות השכונה ומשכה מורים ואנשי רוח, נוסף על אלו שהקימו את השכונה.

الكلية الأكادمية للتربية على اسم دافيد يلين
أسس الكلية عام ۱۹۱۳ المربي دافيد يلين في حي زخرون موشه في مركز القدس وكان يلين المدير حتى عام ۱۹۳۸ . في البداية كانت مدرسة ثانوية مع التأهيل للتدريس. في ۱۹۲۹ انتقلت الكلية إلى بيت هَكِرم حيث جذبت إلى هذا الحي المعلمين والمثقفين.

THE DAVID YELLIN COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
The David Yellin College of Education, formerly the David Yellin Teachers College, was established in 1913 In the Zichron Moshe neighborhood, in the center of town, by educator Professor David Yellin and his colleagues who were pioneers in teaching modern Hebrew. it moved to its current site In 1929 and attracted teachers and Intellectuals to move to Belt Ha-Kerem.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
