Translation of the text on the sign:
The symbol of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
Eshkol Regional Council symbol
The symbol of the Ministry of Education and Sports
Symbol of Kibbutz Tzalim

The first barn of Kibbutz Tzalim
This building was erected in the early fifties of the last century, after the move of Kibbutz Tzalim to its current location, and was used as a cow shed and a sheep pen.
This building continued to be used as a "milking parlor" and a shed for housing the cows until the establishment of the current milking parlor, in the second half of the 1950s. After that it was used as a shade shed for fattening calves, a shed for carts and then until these days - the "nursery": the "children’s house" for the little calves, before they are weaned.
