מתחם המגורים הראשון של עולי תימן
בחודשים הראשונים לחייהם בראשון-לציון התגוררו עולי תימן במרתף "בית העם" ובחצרות איכרי המושבה. אחר-כך הקצה עבורם ועד המושבה מגרש ציבורי בן שני דונם. הגובל ברחוב נחמה של היום. שעליו הועמדו שלושה צריפים. בצריפים השתכנו שבע המשפחות הגדולות. כל משפחה קיבלה חדר. במשך הזמן התווספו למתחם זה עוד צריפים ואליהם עברו עולי תימן אחרים. ביניהם עשר משפחות חדשות שהגיעו מחידאן.

Rishon Lezion
The first residential complex for Yemeni immigrants
In the first months of their lives in Rishon Lezion, the Yemeni immigrants lived in the basement of the "Beit Ha’am" and in the farmyards of the settlement’s farmers. Later, the settlement committee allocated a two-dunam public lot for them. Bordering today’s Nechama Street. on which three barracks were placed. The seven large families lived in the barracks. Each family got a room. Over time, more barracks were added to this compound and other Yemeni immigrants moved to them. Among them are ten new families who came from Hidan.
