הקפלה
בקפלה צנועה זו אשר נבנתה במהלך המאה הרביעית על גבי גת קדומה (3), התפללו חברי הקהילה הנוצרית אשר גרו במקום וצליינים אשר עברו בדרך הציבורית הקרובה בדרכם לירושלים.
מיקומה של הקפלה בשיפולים הצפוניים-מזרחיים של הישוב אינו מקרי, ונבחר על ידי מקימה כדי לזכות יום יום בשעת התפילה במבט מזרחה אל נוף הרי יהודה בואכה ירושלים. על המדרון מול הקפלה שחזרה נאות קדומים נוף הרי חקלאי כפי שנתגלה לעיני עולי הרגל בדרכם לירושלים.
לקפלה שני חדרי תפילה (1,2) הפונים מזרחה. ברצפת חדר מס’ 1 - צלב לטיני, הנתון במסגרת צבע אדום. מתחת לזרועות הצלב מופיעות האותיות A Ω המיצגות את הדימוי האלוהי בנצרות "אני האלף והתו הראש והסוף הראשון והאחרון" (חזון יוחנן 22:13).
אבן רחיים (7) אשר הונחה במכוון על רצפת הכניסה הראשית אל הקפלה, הזכירה לכל נכנס את הפסוק "וכל המכשיל את אחד מן הקטנים האלה המאמינים בי נוח לו שיתלה פלח רכב על צוורו וטבע במצולות הים" (מתי .(6:18)
חצר הקפלה (5) הפרידה בין אזור התפילה לחדרי השרות והמחסנים (6). ניתן להניח כי בגת הקטנה (4) הפיקו כמות יין מעטה לצורכי הקפלה.

EARLY BYZANTINE CHAPEL
This modest chapel was built during the 4th century over an earlier family winepress (3). It was used by the early Christian community living here and by pilgrims traveling the nearby public thoroughfare to Jerusalem.
The location of the chapel on the northeastern slope of the settlement provided a view eastwards towards the Judean hills and Jerusalem during daily prayers. On the slope across from the chapel, Neot Kedumim restored vineyards and olive groves such as were seen by pilgrims going up to Jerusalem.
The chapel consists of two prayer rooms (1, 2). A red mosaic Latin cross is almost perfectly preserved in room 1. At the foot of the cross are the Greek letters A and Ω: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."(Revelation 22.13). A millstone (7) incorporated in the floor in front of the threshold reminded worshippers of the words from Matthew(18:6): "If any of you put a stumbling block before one of these little ones who believes in me, it would be better for you to have a great millstone tied around your neck and you were drowned in the depth of the sea."
A courtyard (5) separated the chapel from the storage/sleeping rooms (6). The small winepress (4) may have supplied the needs of the chapel.
