בניין זה נבנה בעבור "בנק אשראי" בסוף שנות ה-30 ובהמשך שכנו כאן משרדי מס ההכנסה הבריטי.

בשנת 1944 התקיימה כאן פעולה מפורסמת של מחתרת האצ"ל, כשלוחמיה פוצצו את המקום במקביל לפיצוץ משרדי מס ההכנסה בירושלים ובחיפה, ללא קורבנות בנפש.

כיום פועלים בבניין הסניף התל-אביבי של בנק ישראל ומרכז מבקרים לתולדות הכסף.

The Bank of Israel
This building was built in the1930’s, and was converted into the Bank of Israel’s Tel Aviv office a few years after the State was established.
During the British Mandate period, it housed the British income tax offices.
In 1944, it was the target of an operation of the Etzel underground movement (the ’Irgun’), when it was blown up at the same time that the tax offices in Jerusalem and Halfa were also attacked. The first floor of the building houses today a visitor’s center devoted to the history of currency In the State of Israel.

تم تشييد هذا المبنى خلال الثلاثينيات من القرن العشرين وبعد إقامة دولة إسرائيل بعدة سنوات تم تحويله إلى فرع تل أبيب لبنك إسرائيل . وخلال أيام الانتداب البريطاني استضاف مكاتب ضريبة الدخل " البريطانية . وفي عام 1944 استهدفت منظمة اتسل ( " الإرجون " ) المكان بالتزامن مع تفجير مكاتب ضريبة الدخل في أورشليم وحيفا . أما الوقت الراهن فيقع في الطابق الأول من المهني مركز زوار يتناول تاريخ المال الخاص بدولة إسرائيل
