The hospital was founded by Dr. Rudy Wort-Ziv (hence the name of the hospital), and the hospital commander was Prof. Moshe Rakoveszczyk.

Military Hospital No. 11 "Ziv"

During the War of Independence, Lieutenant Colonel Prof. Moshe Rakoveszczyk established Military Hospital No. 11 in this building, where many wounded were treated during the war and siege, and their lives were saved.
